Follow in the footsteps of an MLS team captain, and an NCAA national champion

Thousands of players have attended the oggi oggi oggi soccer camps over the past 21 years. While many have gone on to play at the college level, there are two alumni who have gone further.

Jack Jewsbury, captain of the MLS Portland Timbers and a member of an elite group of players with over 200 MLS games, was a member of the Titans Soccer Club who attended Oggi Oggi Oggi’s inaugural year of soccer camps in Springfield, Missouri. Jack continued doing camps and private training with Gavin for 4 years. In 2012 Jack had 2 goals in the annual MLS Goal of the Year competition with both making it to the top 16. In 2011 Jack played in the MLS All-star game against Manchester united.

From 2000-2002 Will Bates attended camps when a player at Chesterfield United, Virginia. In 2009 as a freshman, Will won an NCAA National Championship with the University of Virginia and he has represented the US at the U17, U18 and now U20 national team levels. Watch for Will to become the 2nd Oggi Oggi Oggi camper to play in the MLS when the MLS draft occurs in January 2013.

A word from Jack Jewsbury, captain MLS Portland Timbers

Recently Jack reflected on his years at Oggi Oggi Oggi soccer camps.

“Oggi Oggi Oggi soccer camp helped develop me to be the player I am today. Gavin taught the proper techniques for all aspects of the game, and in turn made me and my teammates confident once we stepped on the field. Not only did I learn and improve a lot during those summers but Gavin was able to do it in a fun and entertaining way."
