Florida Fire Juniors warm hearts with toy drive

NAPLES — The Florida Fire Juniors program showed its a winner off the soccerpitch as well on Dec 15. The organization distributed 200 toys, 40 soccer balls, a huge bag of clothing, household items (including sheets, blankets, bathrobes, personal care items, and hair care), gift cards totaling over $250, jewelry, movies, books and a bike to the Naples Center for Abused Women and Children.

Coaches Rob Anderson and Dwane Martin from the U11 girls White team, John Harris (parent) with his son, Jack from the U14 boys Select and daughter, Remey, on U11 girls Red team delivered the gifts to Options Thrift Store, benefiting the Naples Center for Abused Women and Children.

Groups Announced For SYL Finals - Schedule of games to be released next week

TAMPA, Fla. - The groups for the 2012 United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League North American Finals were announced today during a live draw at USL headquarters in Tampa. The 130 teams representing some of the best young boys and girls talent will descend upon Bradenton, Florida this winter. The event is set for December 7-11 at the world-class facilities of IMG Academy.
