With a few months remaining in the season, the Florida Fire Juniors will be saying its goodbyes to one of our most successful and dedicated teams in the U18 Girls Premier. The girls have gone above and beyond each season to make not only the Club proud, but their coach and parents. The two-time FYSA State Cup Semi-finalists, coached over the past four years by Chris Cashion, this team has put on the miles traveling together for games, tournaments, and showcases in 7 different states. Whether it’s the entire team or a selection of the girls, they definitely leave an impression when representing Southwest Florida. But much of their success isn’t only on the field. The team’s family bond has proven to be a defining factor in the cohesiveness of the Girls U18 Premier’s success.

Coach Chris Cashion, a Nationally Licensed coach and has been coaching club soccer for over 8 years, reflected on the dedication and time the girls put in over the years. “Being with this team for 4 years I've traveled with the girls by driving my individual car, driving a team van, traveling on a charter bus and a variety of flights. Our season and training has always lasted from August until at least May with State Cup and last year we didn't officially end our season until June 25th after competing in US Youth Soccer’s Regional Championships in Arkansas. Before last summer, the girls also competed in Super Y, or representing our club with the Chicago Fire Elite Female team.” ......Click here to read more
