It's never too late to consider a college education, but if you're a student-athlete wishing to extend a playing career through college, the timeline comes with a sense of urgency.
The process of learning about eligibility, recruitment, communication with coaches is lengthy. Student athletes and their families benefit from an early education when it comes to selecting the right school, the right program and then promoting the athlete to the prospective coaches.
Florida Fire Juniors is committed to aiding in that recruitment education. We offer two college seminars (boys and girls) for student athletes interested in taking their careers to the next level. The seminars are free to our Club members and promise to offer valuable information, to help you on the path to learning and playing at the next level.
The boys seminar (U13-U19) is Friday, Sept 14, 6:30p-8p at Veterans Community Park. It'll be hosted by FGCU Assistant Coach Sheldon Cipriani.
The girls seminar (U13-U19) is Wednesday, Sept 19, 6:30p-8p at Veterans Community Park. It'll be hosted by FFJ ADOC Melissa Miller.
We hope you can join us for an evening of valuable information on your college career!
